The Media Panel Member Rules And Regulations:
1. Once panel members spend their points, they cannot be retrieved.
2. Panel Members can only earn points through the following panel member activities:
- Friend referral
- On time appointment arrival
- Consistently updated information
- Study participation
- Questionnaires
- Zero No-Shows for the year
3. Points are non transferable, have no cash value, may not be purchased, and are not redeemable for cash under any circumstances. Accumulated points are not transferable by the Panel Member upon death, as part of a domestic relations matter, or otherwise. Points and other benefits of the Program may be taxable where required by law.
4. Prospective and current panel members are responsible for maintaining accurate and updated personal information regarding their account.
5. Panel members are not allowed to use the panel member site for solicitation.
6. Membership is open to residents of the Austin area who are 18 years of age or older.
7.If you are a parent, guardian or other person and become aware of information collected from an individual under 18, please contact us immediately at 512-837-5646.
8. Abuse of the Points Program, including failure to follow the rules and regulations may result in cancellation of the Panel Member's Account and future disqualification from study participation and forfeiture of all points accrued. In connection with the enforcement of any of the Rules and Regulations governing the Points Program, MediaScience reserves the right to take appropriate legal action, as it deems necessary, and to recover damages, attorneys' fees and court costs.
9. A Panel Member may cancel his or her Membership by notifying our offices by email or telephone. MediaScience, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel an individual Panel Membership. Cancellation of Panel Membership results in loss of all accumulated points. Panel Members who cancel voluntarily may not re-activate the account but are eligible to open a new account without the benefit of the previously accumulated points.
10. If there is no account activity or points posted to a Panel Member's Account for twelve consecutive months (1 year), the account is subject to closure at MediaScience's discretion, including loss of accumulated points.
11. Each panel member is allowed to choose his or her password to his or her account. Panel members are solely responsible for the use their individual access codes.
12. Occasionally, Panel Members may be eligible for sweepstakes, contests or other similar promotions. Participation in such events shall be subject to the terms, conditions, and rules published at the time of such event and applicable state laws.
13. Panel Members are responsible for ensuring that their points are properly credited. If proper credit does not appear on the Panel Member's point history, the Panel Member should contact our office within 30 days of the date in question.
